Lauren Cook Joins the Feed Media Team

Lauren Cook’s first job was a “hot and steamy” one, behind the counter at Noodles & Company. The proud Denver native is noodling no more and now leads Feed Media’s social media practice. It’s a role that will certainly have her leveraging her favorite tech device – her iPhone.  Lauren says that successful brands approach social media like “strategic publishers.” She helps Feed Media clients create “valuable, courageous social media content that triggers inspiration or action.”

Also known as “LC,” Lauren worked with NBC on the Vancouver Winter Olympics. She lived and breathed the Games on social media at a time when the platform was just starting to explode. Lauren loves telling stories through innovative techniques and thinks it’s great that she can put her creative writing degree to work every day.

If she didn’t work in PR, Lauren would be a New York Times bestselling author, although she wanted to be an astronaut when she was little.  We’re not sure if it was the fact that she couldn’t have her favorite food – warm French bread with butter – in space or if she’d miss too many of her favorite holidays – Christmas – that had her seek other career options. (But we’re glad she did!)

Lauren lives in Denver with her husband and two sons. You may catch her watching lacrosse or singing Karaoke to “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book. You will not find her on a roller coaster – she hates them.

Inspired by a Tina Fey quote, “Know what? Bitches get stuff done,” Lauren lauds the Feed Media team for their “dedication, intelligence and humor, not to mention how they balance work and family.” She’s thrilled that the annual company outing doesn’t involve skydiving, which is her biggest fear, and is looking forward to her first Feed Media Spa Day, saying, “I hear it’s better than birthdays and Christmas combined!”
